The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
